this is a pro gay rights ad with Obama. I think this ad is directed to the homosexual community, as it shows he is on their side, and will back them up when they need him. I know this by the flag in the background.yes and no, the flag could also mean that he is supporting Jesse Jackson and the Rainbow Coalition.
this is a peace ad for obama. the target audience is anyone who wants peace, as shown by the peace signs. yes the intent is clear
i believe this is an ad directed at the younger generation showing that Obama is someone the can respect. i think it is shown clearly by the use of modern day slang used by younger people (as weird as that may sound) and i think the slang may be considered funny to some younger people, and thus appealing.
when i read the words on this …poster ( i guess you could say that), i get an idea of what they mean and why he said them. Each of the words are very important (otherwise he most likely wouldnt have said them). Hope, he uses this word to tell you to never give up hope. Things can get really messy in life, but like they say,”good things come to he who waits” meaning if you just keep strong and don’t give up eventually things will get better. Action, this is saying that if YOU want change, YOU have to step up and take action to make change happen. You can’t just sit around and wait for someone else to do it for you, YOU want it. Change, change is something that is very important today, change can be the thing that stops the war, ends poverty, etc. if you want a better world, you better be ready to change to make it happen.
5 things that Obama represent that i agree with are; Peace, Gay Rights, Healthcare, Immigration, and he values the young very much. (the pictures i uploaded are also the ones i used for part 1 of the assignment). These are things that will definitely help him in his campaign. immigration will win the votes of many who’s family members may be immigrants, or those who just think that immigration is a good idea. Gay Rights is something that MANY people in the US are trying to improve, and the fact that he is for Gay Rights will make these people VERY happy. Healthcare is something many people don’t have, and Obama doesn’t like that thought, he thinks people should all have health care, and if elected will most likely try to make that happen, this want to have everyone be safe will definitely win some votes. Peace, after all the things that have already happened with the war, etc. there are few i can think of who don’t want peace. And finally, the fact that he cares very much for today’s youth is very important as the children are our future, and we need them (us) to have good rights and opportunities so the world can have a better future.
